OK, got a stupid cheap deal on a Moto4 and now I need to put it together. The only thing I have a question on is the fork and how/where the several parts should go together?

I am looking through the manuals and not really finding it. It appears the bearings them selves are in the head tube. I get the stem cap and spacers but there are a couple of rubber washers and a metal ring that I am not quite sure where these go?

Its the Moto4 which is the alloy frame.

Looks to me like one each of the two rubber washers go top and bottom of the head set bearings.

The metal ring has a slot cut into it and a beveled surface one side and the other is flat, seems to fit right on the steer tube of the fork. Does it go top or bottom?

Tried to get some pictures up but the PC is acting like slow. Maybe later.

I did go to the LBS and talked to a friend, he said I could do it no problem and the bike mechanic was not going to be back till end of the month. I did find the suppliment owners manual for the moto, it has a view of the HS and parts but does not everything.

I will check on line for any more tech information, thanks for that tip!
