Hi Ya'll, I'll be traveling out to Oregon in early April on a month-long MTB trip. I'll be in the Eugene/Ashland area in the first week of April looking for some sweet riding. Can anyone clue me in on what trail conditions will be like this time of year? Do people ride the trails even when wet, or does it destroy them? What are some of the most popular trail rides in these areas?

I will be coming from the Front Range of Colorado. I am a professional endurance racer, so never scared to put in some big days. I will be travelling with an XC hardtail and 140mm trail bike. If anyone in these areas wants to show me around for a day, please PM me, I'd love to have your company!! Cheers.

Ashland trails are all going to be rideable in mid-April. Terrible snow year here.
And they absorb rain really well - we don't have a mud season.
