Anyone have this problem? Riding with a Friend on his new 05 AS-X with Fox DHX 5.0 on back. There are tire rub marks on the back of the seat tube from tire hitting during compression. Sure didn't seem like it bottomed at anytime. I looked through older posts, but did not see anything about this. Anyone seen this before?

I have an 05...

and have never had hat happen...no marks at all. I have a buddy who has a n 04...and his has those tire marks. He has the 5th Element....mine is the Fox. Maybe a stiffer spring is needed?
