I'm going to be up in Arnold for 4 days over this weekend and will ride the ART each day starting at the Penny Pines gate.

Anyone from the Angels Camp to Arnold area going to be out and about?

I'm out..being in the Bay Area for a while. FWIW I would really appreciate it if someone would start mapping the area better using a Garmin, b/c the map I have leaves a lot to be desired as far as accuracy and true viewable terrain metrics.

Someone go out and map the area over the course of a month or so and combine it all into one good usable format?

Agreed. Not available this weekend, but I would love to ride it. However, not comfortable going unless there's somebody knowledgeable to show the trail, or a good Garmin map. If you have a Garmin, map it for us!:thumbsup:

It's a shame that my Grad-Present $ will only get me either a Fox 831 or a Garmin, not both, or I'd be totally there.

Maybe we should try to contact Jeff Boatman and see if he'll try to do it for us?

Maybe even Ogre or Wherewolf would consider it??

I'll be at Lake Tulloch tomorrow evening and staying through next Friday. Definitely want to hit the ART at least once, so I'll be looking here for your recap.

How long is the drive from Lake Tulloch to the best starting point for ART? 60 mins?

@Wherewolf..the map I have copies of is an "informal one highlighting the route only".

In other words, for me to get them i had to agree to not reproduce them.
