Oops..how did that happen...
I needed a do it all bike to see me through everything from bikepacking , winter riding, riding with my kids to going to the pub. Kinda extravagant in some ways but I've sold up all my road bikes to fund it since I pretty much only mtb these days, I had some forks already from a previous build, planning to get a set of skinnyish wheels and fast rolling offroad touring tyres for general use to go with my normal mtb wheels.
Looking forward to building it up now and getting at least one bikepacking adventure in this year. Should be fun.

Not the best pic and needs tweaking but it's good.
Feels short after what I've been riding and very lively. May have to put a slightly longer stem on or layback post. Probably the stem even though it goes against my 'cool' gene!

Sure. I might try it with the Pike. I do like the. Looks of the Fox though and it is super plush.
I've also changed bars and stem. I needed it to be a bit longer.
Let me know if this has worked.
I'll post pics in a bit of that. Bicycle tire Bicycle wheel Tire Wheel Bicycle frame

Due to strange/surprising/happy/unexpected circumstances i.e. the return of a bike stolen from me 5 years ago (Jones Ti Spaceframe) I'm probably going to let this go :-( frame/fork/wheels, no room in the shed for two bikes doing the same job...
