I just ordered a used Fox X2 that has hardware included but the pin/sleeve size is too long for my frame. Can I reuse rockshox inner pins with the Fox bushings or are the diameters a little different. I’d like to avoid spending the $30 for new hardware if I can.

Yeah, should be fine.

Main thing is the pin is the diameter your shock bolt uses and the width of the assembly is what your frame needs.

Some Ohlins stuff and some older Cane Creek stuff are a bit funky but in general Fox/RS/DVO stuff is interchangeable along with several other companies.

The pins are the same length, it's the spacers that getcha!

Rockshox is meant to be used with the metal DU bushing that mounts flush in the eyelet

Fox is meant to be used with the IGUS tan bushings which don't mount flush as they have a 2mm flange on the face of the eyelet on each side.
