This auction has the typical red flags: ridiculously low starting bid, no actual picture, user bid kept anonymous, tons of similar new bikes that are only sold retail. This one has a legitimate bid history though. What gives? Could they actually be legit? There was one by another guy that recently ended and he had over 5000 previous transactions.

nah - they phish for id/passwords and then hijack good accounts and use them.

I get a bunch of fake emails coming from "ebay." Just look at the full header on the email and it's pretty obvious.
