I run a Maxxis Ikon on the rear and an Ardent on the front of my Cannondale Scalpel. Mostly do xc stuff (firetrails, single track) with this bike. I found a good deal on an Ardent Race EXO TR. Anyone knows how it compares to the Ardent EXO TR? Any other suggestions on a front tire that will match a rear IKON? Thanks

I think the Ardent race makes a way better tire than the regular Ardent. More transition knobs and rolls faster. Great front tire.
Might also think about the new Rekon. 29x2.4 although it's more like a 2.3.
