Volunteers coordinated by Sonoran Desert Mountain Bicyclists (SDMB) just finished their 3rd trail work weekend on the Arcadia Trail on Mt Graham in the Pinalenos Mountains of SE AZ. Arcadia Trail runs for about 5miles and 2600 vertical feet between 63000 and 8900ft. Where is it? it's about 2hr15 min from Tucson and about 3.5 hours from Phoenix. The trail is not in ride ready condition but it's come a long way from being fairly grown in end back in October. Please check out the Trailforks report link below if you are thinking about checking it out. Posting here as we've made some great progress and are looking to get more interest with future work weekends. You can follow the trail work reports here: Arcadia National Recreation Trail Trail Report History | Trailforks For more info on trail work weekends you can check SDMB's facebook page or sign up for their email newsletters: Sonoran Desert Mountain Bicyclists - email signup

SDMB was back on Mt Graham and the Pinaleños Mountains this past weekend working on the Ladybug trail this time. Snow was too deep to continue the work no Arcadia so we moved down to the 5000-6000ft elevation range. 7 SDMB volunteers scouted 2.5 miles of lower Ladybug Trail and cleared brush along about 1 mile of that distance. This trail has some good contours and seems like it will be a fast run off from Veach Ridge. Our goal is to clear up to the Turkey Flat Junction so we can ride in/shuttle from that point. This would be a 4 mile and and approximately 2500 vertical foot descent and the potential to link this into a mega ride with Arcadia, Round the Mountain and Noon Creek. Southern AZ Sky Island MTB is being reborn. We will be back out in Late March. Join us
