Hi. I was interested in purchasing a Prophet 2000, and was hoping somebody could confirm the weight? I will be swapping tires out for Schwalbe Big Jim UST (725g) so that should shave a bit of weight. Will it be under 27lbs in a Medium?

I just read in Mountain Bike Action it weighs 29 lbs. They tested the Prophet 2000 and really liked it alot. Far cry from the Jekyll's. I still own a Jekyll and love it. RIDE ON!

when will you get the metric system

I am hoping for about 12.5kg on mine. I have just made my last change yesterday (grip shift chain ring shifter) and with Hutchinson Spider UST its now ready to weigh. I'll letcha know.

If MBA weighed it with the High Rollers it will be on the heavy side of what it could be.

PS 12.5kg is +- 27.5 lbs.
