simple and cheap

simple, practical stuff from Walmart, Target, Dollar Store, etc.

summer wardrobe is as follows:

rolled-up bandana around head to keep sweat out of eyes (3/$1)
bright flourescent yellow polyester T ($7)
cut-off cotton sweat pants ($6)
blended-fiber, moisture-wicking socks ($3)
low-quality (but quite adequate) running shoes from end-of-the-aisle close-out sale bin ($7)
palm-padded gloves ($20), but worth every penny ... an investment in the hands
good helmet price? ... whatever it takes to adequately protect the coconut

the bright yellow T provides visibility for safety; style is of no importance to me

Total cost of outfit, including BVD's = $45.00, not including helmet (don't recall that price)

I don't care how I look (obviously) as I'm out there for other far more important reasons
