I don't know about the snow situation, it would suck to do all that climbing and get stopped by snow... although the Granite lake climb would be fun to ride as a downhill as well.

i just thought about it...that's over 8k feet. Last weekend at 7500 there was too much snow to ride, and a friend said he couldn't even get onto the hole in the ground trail at donner summit....
