I do. I bought my Fox helmet (which is manufactured by KBC, fyi) for all of my "power sports". I use it for snowmobiling, dirtbikes, atv's, etc. I also use it for when I go DH'ing with my buds. Why? Because it's fully DOT and SNELL approved, and quite frankly it's just as light and cool as all the overly expensive DH helmets produced by Giro, 661, etc.
I got mine as a last years model for $159. Most of the Giro's, and 661 helmets are $200 + new, and they're not NEARLY as protective in high-speed, and hard-hitting impacts.
I'd like to think that something approved for 50+ mph wrecks is something I'd rather be wearing than just a regular bicycle helmet with a mouth guard.
Just my 2 cents.
Then again, I'm used to wearing a moto helmet... so to me it's light weight. With a good set of goggles, the visibility is just fine.
