Has anyone tried the new michelin tires: XCR X'treme, All Mountain, Mountain Extreme, XCR AT?

Some friends just bought the All Mountain and had problems with the tread tearing after just a few rides.

XCR Extreme. same tread pattern as old Hot S but with new dual compound rubber.

i only have a couple of rides on them. no unusual wear. i have gone through my share of Michelin tires in the past few years (Hot S, XL S, Front S). never had a single problem. the old XL S is still my favorite but I am down to my last two...

my only compliant with the XCR Extreme is that the new rubber compound doesn't seem to be as supple as the old formula (with similar pressure).
