Howdy—
I’m planning to stock up on pads for my Saints and Zees in the next month and just wanted to get some opinions on these.

I normally use the stock finned metallic pads and to be honest I’ve not tried anything that works better. They are mighty expensive though— which is why I’m always wanting to try alternatives.

I’ve used EBC gold compounds and they work pretty well and last a long time, but can get noisy. I tried a set of EBC Red compounds and the pad material was gone after 6-7 rides on my fall-line trails.:/. Needless to say, I won’t use those again even though they were $20 a set.

Does anything else compare to the stock finned metallics in terms of durability and fade resistance? (I ride a lot of very steep, long descents, with 203mm rotors at both ends). The MTXs are a decent deal compared to the stock pads, but I need to know their durability.
