Yes I swapped the stock Deore shifters on my NRS-3 with SRAM Rockets.

Not because of shifting performance, which is great with both, but because the Deore shifters gave me less grip on the handlebars and made me allmost crash a couple of times. Probably because I'm used to gripshifters also.

I LOVE the Rocket shifters!

I have the SRAM twisters on my 03 VT1

I have the SRAM XO twisters on my 03 VT1 and while I find them reliable and good, there are many times that I would prefer the triggers, like when I am bouncing around and can't quite get the twist right. Although it is nice to be able to nudge a gear in place.

XO Shifters adn Derailleur

I have both the XO twister shifters and XO derailleur, so I have not had issues with indexing.
