After a long hiatus, I am back on the scene. During my bike everyday years my fav places included...

1. Lawrence River Trail. Aka "The Levee"
2. Shawnee Mission Park. The non-paved ofc.
3. Weston Bend State Park. Have to do this one during the week and you have entire place to yourself .
4. Perry Lake Trails. Lots of trails here many of which were not even mapped.

Where else are yall in KC bikin these days?

Check earthriders.com. We also have an active Facebook presence. What area do you live in? Trails all over now- north south east and west. Group rides once things dry up.

All over. Over 100 miles of true bike trails in the kc area, plus another hundred within an hour drive. Urban trail co coordinates building most trails in KC and has a helpful open/ closed status due to rain (don't ride wet trails, the clay just can't handle it)

Sounds like your on the west side. Kill Creek park is awesome, especially in the spring as there are a few nice creek crossings. And it feels incredibly secluded. Trails are Hank, Connector, and Eddie. Download the Rainout Line app for local trails. KC trails in general are great and plentiful. Wyandotte County Lake I recommend also for west siders.
