Looking to change my Van 36's for something a bit lighter with a tad more travel so was wondering if anyone is running RS Lyrik's on their 6.6
I'm looking at the 170mm RC2DH air's...
Any input would be great.
Cheers

I'm using a coil version in 170.
Since I run a Hope Stepdown headset, I need to install a new lower cup, recessed to lose about 10mm, lowering the front end a bit.
I really enjoy the Lyric, although you need to look for the oil level in the lowers. Used to Marzocchi with open oil, this needs a bit more care.
Other than that, Coil version comes with 3 coils, and for my 80kg, shim stack is ok and with the compression and rebound knobs you can reach a real nice spot.
A friend's Lyric have a problem with maxle, that undoes after several rides - he checked and re-checked everything but it continues. He has the air simple R unit, and I really like how it rides also!

Sram permits transform the fork to whichever model, by "simply" swapping parts.
Soloair have the possibility to change travel using different spacers.

I would like to note, that I'm using offset bushings and using coil behind - having a lighter bike for epic rides, it seems natural to make this one more "hardcore".
