Anyone running a Highline with an airshock?

A lighter set of wheels/tires will be more effective for what you want to accomplish (albeit more expensive) - that said, I think an air shock is fine as well.

I have wondered about this as well. Roco Air WC? People seem to like them.

How about a 8.5" x 2.5" RP23? I"ve got one on my Enduro and have wondered how it would perform on the Highline with some PUSH loving.

Yeah, thats kind of what I would like to try....It would shave some weight pretty easily! As long as the shock can handle the light duty stuff it should be ok.

Anyone currently running an air shock on a HL that they would like to share their experiences with?

Hey, you know me. Just want a cheap fun fix :thumbsup: . Plus it would be interesting to feel how the new RP23's feel for us heavier guys since I've read that they've improved. I didn't like my DHX air, but maybe the RP23 is better.

lighten it up! take a decent dump before riding you'll save the same weight! perhaps that just me. i'm looking at shaving some weight off mine but to be honest i'll be going for lighter wheels and tubeless as the suspension works so well i reckon the lighter wheels will survive ok, not really light but something like the crossmax sx. it'll also change the feel a bit as the wheels will accelerate quicker and slow down quicker. they may not carry speed as well but then my 17.5 stone of loveliness will keep the momentum up.
if you want a lighter bike by something else but i doubt it'd climb as well!
