Anyone riding in Marin this weekend

Anyone organized rides, checked the calendar to no luck and posting a ride hasn't really been sucessful, so maybe a parasitic attempt would be worth it.

I am up for almost anything in Marin, preferably Sunday. Maybe a Headlands + Tenn valley loop? West Point Inn and some more?

Hey Baycat

It was good meeting you last week on the Tamarancho/China Camp double dip. My legs were toast by the end! It's a good thing we didn't go up to Nike and beyond...

I'm still on the fence about where to ride this weekend. I'm leaning towards Saturday at this point, since a good friend of mine whom I rarely see can also ride that day.

I was considering joining Wherewolf, Zon, et al for their Auburn ride, but am a bit wary of the all-day commitment, especially with the chancy weather. Although that ride was extra-fun in early November.

Instead, I'd like to do a medium loop at Annadel, perhaps something in the 15-20 mile range. You're more than welcome to join us, or if plans change and we stay in Marin, I'll give you a shout.

edit: hmm, I still like your idea of a Mt. Tam ride with a stop at the Pelican Inn...although for maximum enjoyment, this ride would take place on a sunny day.
Yeah it was a good ride, and to meet some people. The Pelican Inn Ride would def. be a good one as soon as we get a nice Winter day or maybe this Spring we can get a big group to do it.

Aubrun would be to far out for me, I am moving into SF this weekend so trying to get a good ride in. I am open to doing Saturday probablu too. When is the Annadel ride? But if you stay in Marin drop me a line and we can go ride!
Hey Baycat

Sorry for the late notice, but Annadel is ON for Saturday.

Meeting on Channel Drive, at the bottom of Cobblestone Trail, at around 0915. Let me know if you need more specific direction.

Probably not the full Annadel loop, but something in the 15-20 mile range. In my experience, 20 miles at Annadel often feels like 10 on the back side of China Camp. :D

Should be pretty dry, with the exception of North Burma and around Lake Ilsanjo and Ledsen Marsh.

Mexican food and cerveza to follow at Lepe's.

Hope to see you there!

Quercus sorry I wont be able to make it on Sat. a good friends birthday, otherwise I would so be there. Hopefully we can hook up for another ride soon!

Happy riding up there in Annadel.

I'll take that as a no.
Sorry, it def. wasn't a no. Just unfortunately didnt have time to ride today. By the way I remember your Blitz wasa very nice looking rig. How does it handle out there in China Camp?

No prob the traction is wonderfull out there, the ground seemed to really soak up the water. The Blitz is a great bike, heafty 39.65lbs with way too much travel for China Camp. It enjoys stuff like going down Oat Hill Wagon Trail, Nstar or Downieville.
