Anyone racing a Norco Revolver HT?

Anyone racing the newest version of the norco revolver? They call it revolver ht 120. Seems more aggressive than most brands hardtail. As in slacker hta, steeper sta, and more reach. Not as light as the epic, but seems better suited for a 120 fork.

I’m racing the 100mm version of the newest HT revolver.

I raced a Revolver HT 120 last year. A size Large frame without any hardware other than a rear hanger is right on 3 pounds. I don't know how a Epic can be lighter? Maybe a ounce?
120mm with a 67-68 HTA is the new xc race geo. If in the market for a new bike don't get dated numbers.
I had a revolver FS120 and have a Kona Honzo. I raced the Revolver HT in xco and marathon. I think Norco really took their time to dial in this frame.

Epic is around 2lbs. I want to try this bike out if I can find one. The chart says x large for me but it seems giant.

What are your thoughts on the Revolver vs. Honzo? I have a carbon Honzo and the revolver looked intriguing to me in both HT and FS.
Honzo is one ounce heavier. I prefer my Honzo. I think it depends on your local terrain. It is not like they are that much different but the Honzo handles the tech a little better. If I had to sell my Honzo I would be completely happy on my revolve HT.
The revolver FS I had I sold after a few rides. The bike was great but the chain stays are wide for a long section. I have heel rub on most bikes and the revolver was just too much, I would have been going through shoes and stays. This was not really a fault of the bike but something to be aware of. The FS could of used a little more anti squat. If interested I suggest riding one before you purchase. It was plush for a xc rig.

Sounds a lot like my Hei hei. When I first rode it I thought I’d made a horrible mistake, but luckily I was able to adjust my cleats enough to clear my ankles. After all my time on hard tails, I struggled with the pedal feel, and yearned for a remote lockout. Now, I find that the lockout doesn’t actually make me faster on anything less than a smooth road, but I often forget to “unlock” on downhills. Lol.

I’d love another honzo, though.

Nice, thanks for the feedback. Yeah honestly my biggest gripe about the Honzo is that I don’t have sliding dropouts and I run it SS now. Have a hard time imagining a much better geo for an all-arounder XC ride.

The big thing for me about the honzo CR is 1 bottle. But for some reason the Big Honzo CR can take 2 bottles. The geo is just a tiny bit different. I run the new Blur as my SS with a tensioner. I want a hardtail as a daily driver do it all, instead of riding my road bike so much. Its way too boring.
I'm racing an HT1 120 as SS. Previously I raced the 2017 revolver HT. Enjoying the extra travel of the 120. I think I have more clearance to fit a larger rear tire if I want to add more squish to the rear as well.
