Fast tire...on super-smooth XC courses ONLY.

Try riding them in normal, real-world trails...and you will get hurt.

They have excellent rolling but hates ANY kind of moisture whatsoever. They have practically zero off-camber grip and loose sand will send you fishtailing downwards.

Don't run these tubed, because you will pinch flat on the SLIGHTEST rock contact. Mine lasted only for two Expert Class races and they were toast. I would only use these again if someone PAID me to ride them...not the other way around. These tires are expensive, lightweight junk, IMHO.

Use at your own risk...
maxxix 310

Just raced with these tires last sunday at rim nordic , they are fast tires , i can tell as soon i got on my bike but you have to have some skills to ride these tires , any mistakes you will pay the price.
maxxis maxxlite 310 is it much better than maxxis detonator 26x1.5?

maxxlite 26x1.9 is at 310grams each tire, for the maxxis detonator 26x1.5 550grams each tire

I do xc road, flats and climbs, and some light trails off road.. maxxlite for the win?

No. It's a race only tire. Too light to be durable enough for normal use.

I switched to kenda kozmik lite 2, much cheaper.. actual weight is 370grams, the maxxlite 310 weighed in at about 330g, no complaints so far with kenda, but I think the tires will only last for about 1000 or 2000 kilometers?

If a tire that light lasts 500km I'd feel lucky

I have been replacing tires 2-3x that heavy at 300-400 miles when they lose enough traction that to me warrants replacement.
