The value of the dollar has steadily been falling for the last couple of years against far eastern currencies. Slack's got to be picked up somewhere, I doubt Jay and Keith make enough on the frames to absorb the relative increase in manufacturing cost.
Jenson is just getting up to speed with Banshee, so there are a number of errors on the Jenson site that we are working with them to correct.
Just to confirm, a Rune with a DHX Air is $2000, the Rune with a Monarch 4.2 is $1600 MSRP.
Hey guys, the pivot system is a bit different. Still using the IGUS bushings, but now will have a different bushing axle system that should eliminate preloading the bushings. You should be able to just tighten it up and ride, no more messing around with trying to get the preload right. Also, CANADA gets hammered on Fox products, thats one reason for the price increase. Frames are $2100 with an RC4, and $1600 with the Monarch. Prices might not be quite that high at some stores. Also the new axle system can be retrofitted to older models.
2012 stuff is still about 6-8 weeks out. Dont look for the 29er till summer we were told.
