I was interested but not after Specialized botched the execution. They just used a 29er front triangle. Geometry seems all screwed up (steep HA, tall stack, etc.). Would still like to demo it but not as excited or likely as before.

Yea, I was set to order one but I'm having second thoughts being it's first generation and feel like this was rushed.

Same here. Went to see it yesterday; discussions around geo on this forum keep me hesitant. Love the bike though, only gripe is why did they have to add that neon yellow? They could have kept it all flat black just like the other 26 and 29 Comp/Evo!

If you can wait a couple weeks my Spesh dealer claims two new 650b bikes will be announced at the Sea Otter. Maybe a color you could love. One will be a DH bike though.

Demo and Enduro..., for sure on the Enduro from what I hear.

On their website it lists the HA as being 68 deg. Considering the FSR EVO 29 is 68 and the Enduro 29 is 67.5, I don't see it being that big of a deal.

I rode the Enduro 29 today and it's awesome! Personally waiting for the shop to get some of the 650's in this week before I make my mind up.

My LBS should have a carbon and aluminum 650B by the end of this week.

I put my order in on saturday. I was already about to pull the trigger on the 26er so this was kind of a happy surprise. The geo isn't as tight as the 26er, but i went with the tweener mostly because it has a more certain future at the moment.

If it was a 130mm bike, 68 degree HT would be fine, but on a 150mm bike I prefer atleast 67 like the 26".

I am currently planning on ordering an Enduro 29 in the next day or so, but am secretly waiting for this bike to arrive at a shop close to me before I purchase the Enduro. Looks awesome to me.
