not Dayton but if you are ever coming to Cleveland, bring the bike. In addition to the outdoors, Rays Indoor Park is a great place to have a blast on an mtb during the winter ([email protected], summer too!). Drop me a pm or email if you are coming up anytime and well set something up. Also, check out Dakotas posts on this forum. HE has rides at Mohican regularly and thats not a stupid drive from Dayton.

Places to go and people to talk to....

Go find Ohio Mountain Bike Assoc - www.mtbohio.org and the Spokejunkies (link should be on the OMBA site) and they'll be able to let ya know where are some decent places to ride.

Last time I was over that way to ride, I hit Caesar's Creek. But that was many a moon ago. ;)

john bryan is pretty good to ride, but there are several inches of snow and ice still. you could always try riding on the sidewalks (good luck!) if you want a good workout. ride a full suspension if you've got it; a hardtail will beat the crap outta ya!

I'm up in Springfield, local trails I like are.. John Bryan (Yellow Springs - because its close) and then there's always Cesar's Creek, Hueston Woods, and anywhere the Spokejunkies are going. They are a great bunch of riders (I thinks I've been a member for 4 years now).

Mainly right now - I'm stuck on the bike trainer due to snow covered trails or now soggy wet trails.

Also check out www.joinomba.org - they have forums on there that cover all of Ohio and trails. Even they list group rides there too sometimes (on the forum).
