Anyone ever ride 12 Hrs of Temecula?

I'm a Santa Cruz rider that's thinking of doing it as a 2 person SS team. Got any words of advice, course lay out, temps, challenges, etc? Thanks.

Temecula Ride

Hey Fire horse, this will be the first 12hr series out at Vail Lake in Temecula. The course is similar to the one used by Granny Gear for the 24hr race. I changed a few portions of the course to make it faster and more fun. Overall Ive been told the course is about a 7 on hardness scale and about a 9 on the fun scale. I just ran a prelim race for all the local bike shops in our area last weekend. We had some top cal state pros out there and just about every other level of rider. The vibe was great for the course. Of course a couple of complaints but hey no one's perfect. We had quite a few SS er's out there also. They had a blast. The initial climb was a little tough but doable. Anyway hope that helps. Thanks for the info and I'm lookin forward to the new experience.
I was out there today and rode

I did a couple laps there, not that I thought I was in a good shape, but the trail kicked my butt, I had fun though I liked the downhills they flow pretty nice.
I rode the 24 hour race in April and the course kicked my arse. The conditions where good, we had a little rain in the night but it helped pack in the single track.....so by morning it was perfect. The climbs are tough on a 9 speed so on a SS it will hurt. But thats why you ride a SS right? Feel no pain. Good luck.
