Just picked up an NRS composite frame.

Has anyone on here ever broken a Giant carbon/composite frame? I ride pretty hard and sling my bikes on the back of cars, and I'm just worried about the composite frame standing up to this abuse for a good few years?

Is the bonding that holds the shock mount gonna last? Just worried I've picked up a purely race-orientated frame and maybe I should trade it in for an aluminium one.

My last bike was an old '99 FSR XC, this has lasted fine...

Please tell me your horror stories or otherwise?

I Just picked one up myself and I have searched the internet extensively and have yet to hear of anyone breaking one. I owned a GT sts composite which I rode pretty hard for 3 years and it never broke. I am 200 pounds and ride pretty agressive cross country and I am confident it will hold up. Just protect the finish from chips and you should be ok.

I haven't broken one, but I have seen some break, actually I saw 3 break at one round of the World Cup 3 years ago.....scary seeing those frames come apart!
