My wife has asked me to take her to the 2011 Phillip Island MotoGP round for our anniversary.

We know very little about Australia, and I'm hoping that I can make some contacts that will help to speed my learning curve.

Not that I live near Philip Island - it's about 1.5 - 2 hours drive South East of Melbourne CBD.
