I've tried a few and found I was getting a lot of camera shake when mounted to the frame.. I found that helmet.. chest.. and camera on a stick.. works best but I'm still working on it.Some great videos out there Lets see how and where the camera is located
Pictures please Videos too if you want!
My experience:Nice video was that recent? It is currently 35 degrees here
I notice a lot of people use Vimeo what are the benefits vs you tube?
It's beefier, but will still be subject to the vibration forces at work. The head tube is going to have a slight right/left oscillation and the stem will additionally have all of your steering corrections in the video as well.I'd also be interested to hear what others are using.. I've just bought the GoPro rollbar mount and plan to try it on the head tube or stem.. It seems a lot more beefy than the handlebar / seatpost mount.
I love that mounting position, especially when it's pointing forward. Nice mount!Vid using a P&S camera (no stabilization in camera or post) from the Pugs fork setup above. (turn your sound off)
Nice. If you're lazy like me, you could buy one of these:Here's mine; a copper plumbing end cap with a hole drilled in the center of the flat section, a nylon spacer and an M5 cap screw.
Perhaps, but it's really nice to have the 3-axis adjustability that you get from the handlebar mount. Just enough to be flexible without being super-shaky.It looks like you might be able to bolt the gopro case directly to the frame in that position using a long M5 bolt, a standoff, and some spacers. Looks sano as is tho...
