Some great videos out there Lets see how and where the camera is located
Pictures please Videos too if you want!
I've tried a few and found I was getting a lot of camera shake when mounted to the frame.. I found that helmet.. chest.. and camera on a stick.. works best but I'm still working on it.

I'd also be interested to hear what others are using.. I've just bought the GoPro rollbar mount and plan to try it on the head tube or stem.. It seems a lot more beefy than the handlebar / seatpost mount.

My last riding vid was a couple of days ago.. Not on my FatBike but on my little folding bike and you can see it at the end of this vid..

I used PVC electrical fittings, gear clamps and some foam tape. one mount fits fork, seattube and down tube with very, very little shaking and it's an easy trail side job to move from one to the other. For the helmet I just use the go pro mount

here's a short one that shows a few of the positions

Nice video was that recent? It is currently 35 degrees here
I notice a lot of people use Vimeo what are the benefits vs you tube?
My experience:

  • Vimeo (free account) doesn't balk when you embed copyrighted music in your video.
  • Youtube usually allows it to upload, but you can't see the video on mobile devices.
  • As an aside, Facebook threatens to close your account if you do it more than once. :D

It's beefier, but will still be subject to the vibration forces at work. The head tube is going to have a slight right/left oscillation and the stem will additionally have all of your steering corrections in the video as well.

Here's mine; a copper plumbing end cap with a hole drilled in the center of the flat section, a nylon spacer and an M5 cap screw.

GoPro Hero Rear Wheel Mount

GoPro Hero Rear Wheel Mount

Have mounted it to upper and lower rack barrels on my 907 frame and Pugsley fork. The result:

Nice. If you're lazy like me, you could buy one of these:
Paul Component Engineering - Gino Light Mount

I bought it as a light mount for my wife's fork on her Surly Long Haul Trucker, when one day it dawned on me that it could be used as a Go-Pro mount as well

The front and rear reflectors that came on my bike originally made for great gopro mounts. Unscrew the reflector and put a sticky mount right in its place. Free handlebar and seatpost clamps!

The gopro helmet mount also works great around the bottom bracket.

Last one... bolt a sticky mount to the bill of a tight fitting ball cap.

Here are some screen caps:

It looks like you might be able to bolt the gopro case directly to the frame in that position using a long M5 bolt, a standoff, and some spacers. Looks sano as is tho...
Perhaps, but it's really nice to have the 3-axis adjustability that you get from the handlebar mount. Just enough to be flexible without being super-shaky.

I've made dog harnesses and motorized helmet booms back in '07/'08 had a Vholdr/Contour in '06... I have a ContourHD+, Hero2, and when I got a Hero4 Session I tried something new. This is my most current contraption: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VRZpH_ZVe0c It was a stupid idea, and when I tried it, it totally sucked. So, I fixed it with a stabilizer! I got it to fit in the 26" fat wheel, so there won't be any issue fitting it inside the 36" Unicycle wheel!

The only GoPro close to the ContourHD for mounting has been that Hero4 Session, still they haven't come up with a mount that rotates and straps on to match this mount! It's very dynamic. I did use a helmet and chest mount as well, but every other shot was this one strap mount!
