on my 07 SJ FSR? There are 4, two on each side, so i can't get to the inside to knock them out like I did all the other bearings. I'd hate to buy a $100 blind bearing puller for 4 bearings?

Any tricks to getting them out?

I had my Specialized LBS remove those for $5, I couldn't get them out, rest weren't bad. They had a 'special' tool. Not sure if it was special for that pair or the same thing you rig up w/ bolt & a socket (which wouldn't work in this case).

there is a machined shoulder inside that keeps the bearings seperated.

So, you need a blind hole bearing puller or the ability to slowly tap the bearing out from the other side

will a non metric one work? Looks like it just expands to fit.

a 5/16th one shoould fit those 8mm bearings.
1/2" shoul fit 13mm
a 9/16th should fit 14mm
3/4 should fit 19mm

1" should work on 25mm

other sizes, IDK
