I fish there all the time and I'm looking for some trails, preferably loops, in that area. Maybe around Big Bend Campground/Smoke Hole area or some where around there? I don't want to drive too far so Spruce Knob area is out of the question.

Roaring Plains - there is a way to make a loop back to the FS road, but you better bring your 'A' game (and GPS). There's a bunch of riding over by Davis if you don't mind heading west an hour or so.

Or head down south a bit and head up Seneca Creek trail - not a loop though.

I've checked out North Fork and it looks pretty killer. Might he heading down next weekend...anyone know any idea of trail conditions? Been pretty warm so I imagine the snow is melted...and I don't think it should be too muddy....

Good to hear. Figured the snow should be clear. What is it, forest road 54, I think, that runs parkway down NFMT...guessing that's probably about the messiest section now.

It is killer! An epic ride. I like it best riding South to North.
