Crosier from any of 4 TH's

Some of the best riding in the Front Range.
Don't knock House Rock, though. Even though it's a jeep road, the riding up around Pierson Park and over to House Rock is about as outstanding as you get for jeep roads. It's wide, but still very untrafficked. Also check out Lion Gulch if you are up for something really gnarly. It's only about 10 min from Estes on 36.

Nice i wonderd about that. The guide book i have put the trail at 2 milles. Is that right or is it longer?
You can do Crosier as a lollipop from Estes. The ride out along Devil's Gulch is pretty and the descent to the trailhead is fun. Except the mile or two up the steep switchbacks on Devil's Gulch road, the return is just a nice pavement cruise too. You can also try the turnoff to the actual summit of Crosier while you're on the trail, which is rather loose and steep in spots but worth doing if you have the time, imo.

Enjoy.
My wife is dragging me to estes next weekend  . I've heard of Hall ranch but dont know anything about it. Can anyone enlighten me?
Howdy jakomonster. If you make it down to Lyons, swing by and I can give you the 411 on riding around here. Hall Ranch is accessible riding distance from town. Otherwise, there's more technical singletrack closer to Estes and it's a shorter drive, too. Think Crosier Mt or Lion Gulch. Otherwise, Pierson Park/House Rock or Pole Hill Rd are good jeep road options. Feel free to PM me for more info.

I'm such a tease.

But really, I'm not lying, it's not all single track and there is some air involved. Does air count as singltrack???...I didn't think so.
Hall Ranch is pretty good. There is a lot of construction on Highway 7 in Lyons and the Antelope Trailhead is inaccessible by car but you can park at the Hall Ranch trailhead and head north on Highway 7 about a mile and take a left on Antelope through the orange cones. The trail starts at the top of the hill and climbs for a few miles culminating in a sweet descent back in to the Hall Ranch parking lot.
I'd like to revise and extend my remarks. The 1/2 mile trail up to the top of Mt. Crosier is a lot of hike-a-bike; I walked some on the way down yesterday :)

It's probably 2 miles from the Glen Haven trailhead (we'll call that the second trailhead) to the main junction. From there, it's a mile to the Crosier Mt. turnoff. I haven't ridden beyond there down to the lower (4th) trailhead. Back at the main junction it may be another couple miles down the 3rd trailhead. It's all quality mountain biking that is suspension and gear friendly.

The name of the road is actually Apple Valley Road, not Antalope as I wrote earlier.

Antelope Trailhead - Thru town, right up US36 (thru the construction), left on Apple Valley Rd, left on Antelope Rd.
