Hi

I`m planning to buy this rear hub from oddsandendos.com. It seem`s to be a very good hub, with reliable parts and a good weight for that price.
It`ll be laced to a mavic x221 or x717 (still thinking) of 32 holes, and obviusly used as a rear wheel.
But I can`t see any reviews of it, here at mtbr.com. So I wanted to know if someone had been using it, for mountain biking and how they perform under XC racing and riding abuse.

I`m not in the US, so I need reliable equipment with easy replacement parts.

Thanks a lot for your answers!
bye.

There are 5 reviews on roadbikereview, all but one being positive and I think the issues with the negative review have been fixed.

Can't do it!

The Speedcific hub is for a road/cross wheelset only - Hub spacing will not work as a MTB wheelset. I had Mike build me up a cross wheelset last year and it's been nothing but perfect for me.
I asked Mike about Speedcific hubs for MTB and he mentioned looking into it but I have not heard any mention of anything comming of it.

SpeedCific hubs
Velocity Fusion rims
Wheelsmith AE15/XE14 spokes

thanks a lot...

:(
Damn, I was afraid of that. Well, thanks for your advice Kman, but do you know about other hubs, in a price range of 100$-130$ using cartigride bearings?

Thanks!
