are there any xc races coming up?? im new to racing. where would i find races in the washington area? thanks!

Ryan, As far as I know there are two races left this year. One is this weekend at Schweitzer Resort just outside of Sandpoint Idaho. That is the final WIMS race. Go to Roundandround.com for info. The other is the Mountain Bike Festival in Winthrop in the first week of October. If anyone knows of any other races please post. There are also weekly races at Sea-Tac put on by Backwoods Bike Trail Club. Check them out at BBTC.ORG Also if you want to ride some completely crazy rides you can join the club, they have quite a few hard rides.

XC races die early around here. they start in march but July 'seems' to be the end of the season... The rest of summer people are preparing for cyclocross... Even road racing has seemed to slow down around here..
