I am looking for people to ride with in the Prescott area. Is there anyone on here that is a regular on the weekends that I might tag along with?

Hey commie- Welcome to town.

Lots of good people riding here all the time, but there's a regular weekly off-road ride on Thursday afternoons. 5:30 PM.

The location alternates each month... during June we're meeting at Schoolhouse Gulch trailhead right next to White Spar Campground (about 2 miles south of the courthouse on 89A).

In July we'll be meeting at the Thumb Butte parking lot, same time. Then August, back to Schoolhouse Gulch. Rinse and repeat, year-round.

And then, if you ever have a Sunday morning open and want to hook up for a ride, send me a PM and we'll see if we can hit the trails together. This coming Sunday there's a trail work day. (8-11 AM, meeting at Thumb Butte parking lot, if you're interested in getting some blisters.)

commie welcome to town! Velo is a good guy and the Sunday AM social ride I went on was fun. I do hear the Thursday night ride is faster although I have not attended one yet- more of a concern for me as I ride a big bike.
We have a group of about 12 people of which 3 - 6 show every weekend for a ride. Nothing hard core just typically around a 14 mile ride of either Granite Basin, Lynx Lake, Emmanuel Pines or Thumb Butte. We meet around 8am this time of the year. If you are interested in getting on our list please PM me your e-mail address.

As Greg mentioned above the Thursday night rides typically have a pretty good turn out and this months rides we ride the 396 and Feldmire which are a blast.

Welcome to Prescott and enjoy all the great riding,
Jeff
Thanks. I have actually lived in Prescott Valley since 1984 but I left for 10 years while I was in the Marine Corps. Just got back into town and wanting to start riding. I'm usually busy on weekdays with work but I will definitely show up for a sunday ride one of these days. This week being fathers day it won't happen but definitely in the future.

Welcome to P-town!
Howdy bomb. Stick with beersnob and & velo they both have good crews to ride with. There is a good loop out at the Dells thats pretty fun, it incorporates watson & willow lakes. Welcome.
Im down. i dont know what type of punishment my bike can take..but it will be fun finding out.b.its not the best, a db sorrento but its my starter till im ready for a more aggressive bike
Hey guys, I just got into riding a few months ago and moved into a place right behind the Comfort Inn on white spar. Ive been riding 396 out and back from my casa a few times a week in the morning and would love to find some more people to ride with. Im not looking for punisher rides, just a few hours of good singletrack with good people. I'm no pro either, probably novice/intermediate in the conditioning department.

I also have a trials motorcycle and enduro bike, so anybody thats into that give me a shout as well! Im actually going to be riding out at the seven mile gulch area this saturday. There is some killer singletrack out there for the moto heads!

Also, I work 4-12am on weekdays, so weekday mornings are when I usually ride.

Nice chainslap, by the screen name it sounds like you like the chunky stuff. I'll PM ya my email so I could show ya some fun trials type riding right here in Ptown. There is also some fun Dhill close by. Later.
Chainslap I also have a dirt bike and rode 396 Tuesday, seven mile gulch is sweet single stuff too. I also Mtn bike with heli PM me and maybe we can get in some miles. How you likin the Trials bike? Always been interested in that.
396 on the Mtn bike that is! Seven Mile Gulch has a lot back there to explore on a dirt bike for sure.
I'll have to hook up with you guys for sure!

And Ive been riding moto trials for quite a while now. Thats been my thing. I just picked up my Giant trance in february. This is my first real venture into pedal power minus dirt jumping as a kid. Although Im only 23, so as a younger kid, lol...

Im actually planning on riding trials at Alto pit this sunday morning. If anybody wants to give that a shot, you're more than welcome to try my bike! There's virtually nothing to break on those plus its gotten plenty of beatings from me.

I'll shoot you guys some PM's too.
Chain-slap, fun DH right behind your house coming off of Quartz Mountain.
