There are two new double blacks on the coldwater trail map. The Pip which is off Talladega and Jordys which is off Gazza. I assume Jordys is a rock garden but I'm curious if Pip is a downhill or jump line.

I know Coldwater eventually will add a third trailhead and double the amount of trails.

I can answer my own question. The Pip is basically unbridgeable at my skill level. It’s rolling but a net downhill with a ton of off camber and deep chunk. Some of it think only pro DH riders could clean. Spots where the space between tress is narrow, looks unfinished.

Jordy’s comes off Gazza but I didn’t ride it, it dumps into Bomb Dog. I stopped on bomb dog and looked up and it looks like gazza but twice as steep,

I rode down into the Anniston trailhead and it looks like something is going in 100 yards up from trailhead. Can’t tell if it’s a skill zone or picnic area.

I went there with my son April 2021. Had a great time. It's amazing how fun and long the downhills are with such little elevation change. That time of year, the timber rattlers were coming out of hibernation. There were a lot of them, and it was pretty freaky.
Never once saw a snake out there. Sure they are there, probably went right past them. I try to have an understanding with them. Dont mess with me and I wont mess with them.

It depends on time of year. We were there early April 2021. We saw some and heard plenty more -- not rattling but when we were stopped, could hear them slithering through the underbrush to get further off the trail. They even had warning signs on the trail.
