Fast Rolling is key, biggest volume/height that'll fit into the frame the top of the seat stay already looks close but still want a bit more.

2.3 Eskar currently on a 17mm rim which I plan to upgrade to a 25mm ( internal ) rim later.

I did try last night, it was saying permission denied I'll try it again later.

Would prefer some real world, this fits in my 456 frame, there fairly common frames after all, read cheap but functional.

Ardent 2.4 bigger than a Eskar ? got a 29" Ardent on the front looks bigger.

I know the Advantage 2.4 is huge, but might be to tall to fit into the frame, shame I donated mine to a mate :(

Get the wider rims before the bigger tires.

Fat tires on skinny rims get squirmy unless ran at high pressures.

How much room do you have (width between chain and seat stays, and rim edge to whatever frame part is closest)? How much clearance do you want?

lost my power.

I agree totally on the rim, I'll drop a bomb proof but cheap EX325 in there next month adding 8mm's of volume and a bomb proof requirement I have.

13mm's to the Seat Stay tube, 6mm's width wise to the front mech and maybe 8mm's up.

Shiggy doesn't have the Eskar listed from what I can see.

A 2.4 RK would be ideal, wonder how long before the 2.4 BC 26" X Kings are available.

Can't find them in the UK sadly not paying to import.

Tiger Claws looked tempting, but while looking at them found the WTB Weirwolf LT 2.55 is about the biggest volume fast roller there is, not cheap though.

Found 2.4 Tiger Claws rrp £40 reduced to £15, SOLD reviews say there HUGE, really high volume and really supple to comfortable, while rolling very fast :)

Summer rear tyre then back to Eskars for the winter no doubt!

Thanks Two-One never ever looked at that make before, as a tyre geek I should give them a go :)

Tiger claw arrived, sadly the really high volume was well a lie :(

internal bead to bead, 150mm's, Eskar got 153mm's but it'll likely stretch.

Same as a Aspen 2.25, RK 2.2 Steel 147mm.

But very round profile so looks like its going to fast rolling when pumped up hard for road duties.

The box it arrived in nearly floated to, very light if that floats your boat :)

Not what I'm after :(

Loving the tiger claw, really fast rolling, possibly faster than the RK2.2, handled all I threw at it ( which wasn't much ) perfectly, really comfortable, feels like a slow rebound tire, although I'd still like a shade bigger, perfect.
