Just wondering if The Anthills or Memorial Park is too wet to ride today? I'm brand new to mountain biking and have been to Memorial Park once the other day and it was slightly muddy in spots and it hadn't rained in several days... Just curious how bad it gets after a light rain like yesterday morning.

Memorial park has a hotline you can call to get trail status 713-221-0499.

There is a user maintained status board at ghorba.org as well. Note: the statuses there should be taken with a grain of salt as someone set the MP trails to open but the hotline says closed. The gates will be locked if you make the drive over there.
