Hi Everyone, I'm from Tucson, AZ., my girlfriend and I go over to Silver City once in awhile. I am wondering if there is any good riding in the area. Singletrack preferred. We tried to find some on our last trip, but came up empty. Thanks for any help.

Silver City Rocks

Right now is probably a bit cold and snowy. But when it's biking season, the SC area is definitely worth a trip.

A popular route is the Signal Peak Challenge course. A definite epic.

There is also a book on bike trails of the Gila, which covers lots of ride options in the SC area. Gila Hike and Bike in "downtown" SC should have copies, and other helpful mtb intel and items.

That little creek at Signal Peak was so much more interesting at the Signal Peack Race last year.
