Any good places around the Denton area?

I'm going to be visiting here in a couple of weeks. I'd like to be on the north side of dallas/FW. Also I'm going to be traveling down US69 HWY. If there are any good trails along the highway closeby , let me know.

Not sure about US69. But just north of Denton are some pretty decent trails, Isle Du Bois (@11mi all loops combined) and Johnson Branch (@8mi all loops combined). Both State Parks on Lake Ray Roberts and @ 20-25 min from Denton. I rode Isle Du Bois today and it was in absolute perfect condition. I plan on going to Johnson Branch tomorrow. Both are fun beginner to intermediate skill level trails with some fairly challenging rock gardens, more so at Isle Du Bois. Do both if you have time.

This will show ya' just what's around that area and along that route. Then use the rest of the site to get more info and such on whichever trails you choose.

IDB and JB are the two best north of Denton. If you are a little bit south of Denton, hit up Northshore. Probably the best DFW area trail IMO, although IDB and JB are pretty fun as well.
