I ride mostly single track, semi technical, like to jump a bit and noticed the little guys are getting roughed up. My rides usually average about 2 hours. Anyone got a pair that they really like and would recommend? I have quite a few pairs of Skateboard shorts and wonder if I should just buy some nice padded linnings for my Jewels??? If linning is the route, what are some good ones??? Any links would be appreciated.

I wear the Hoss Ponderosa shorts & knickers plus Performance Bike Shops Boulder shorts...Both shorts are very comfortable...they look great...have nice velcro pockets plus give you decent padding at a good price...Check'em out...

I've got Oakleys. I got them for Christmas, so I didn't pay for 'em. They are awesome shorts, watch chainlove for some and you won't be disappointed. Make sure though that you get a pair that are suited for your riding. I have seen some on there aimed at XC/AM, and others aimed at FR/DH, the FR shorts are thicker, and might have additional padding, I'm not sure.

Got the specialized MTB shorts on ebay for $40 and they are so good, I'm scared to try anything else. Will look for the $26 Oakley's though.
