Any frequent Skegg's Point riders?

Hey i was wondering if there was an already established group of riders that hang out in the skyline area and ride on the corte madera preserve once a week. I ride there frequently and would like to get to meet some of the crowd.

I think ROMP (romp.org) has a weekly ride there, check out the new ride calendar here in the forum, too. FWIW Skegg's Point is a parking lot with an overlook; El Corte de Madera is the name of the open space where ya ride, so look for both names in listings etc....

Skeggs tends to be our "backyard" ride when we don't travel to UCSC or Demo. Send me a PM and I can hook you up with our ride group.

Peace,

SVS
Is the park open still...

I'm an East Bayer, but fell in love with El Corte Madera just this past fall and rode it quite a bit. I read a post on this forum a few days ago and was under the impression that the trails are closed during the rainy season and are already off limits. Do you know if this is true? If not, I'll be riding this weekend.

Some of the trails there do close seasonally, but some stay open. Check www.mrosd.org for the latest status.
