So the Kingfisher freeride bike specs are up on the Fisher 2005 site now ( http://www.fisherbikes.com/goto.asp?year=2005&bike= ), but no pics. Anyone have pics of this new beast?
No, but i've seen pics. Think highly manipulated tubes with a Trek Diesel like design with 7" of travel and 7" Sherman. Pretty badass bike.

Yeah- I figured it'd be a single-pivot, a la the Cake, and the specs mention hydroformed tubes (I like what Trek did with those on the Session 77- hydroformed without going overboard). Love the fact that they're spec'ing the SRAM X.0 on it. How are the graphics? Hopefully understated.

Gonna be hard to decide between the Kingfisher, the Session and the Cannondale Gemini when it comes time to buy a 1.5" headtube, single-crown freeride bike later this year.

Hummm, where's the front derailleur on that Kingfisher 1?
Yeah- I noticed that both Trek and Fisher pictured their new top-end freeride bikes with triple ring Saint cranks instead of the 32/22 cranks listed in their specs. Wouldn't be much room for a triple front derailleur on that Kingfisher 1. Looks like there is a FD tucked behind the outside chainring in that photo- obviously not properly set up since there's no cage around the chain.

Have to say, after finally getting a look at the Kingfisher, that I like the looks of the Trek Session 77 and the C-dale Gemini much better. Kingfisher looks an awful lot like the Orange Double-D. Maybe it will grow on me, but for now it's not lust-inspiring.

Any word on pricing for the Kingfisher 1 & 2, and the Trek Session 77 & 7?
