Hey guys, do any of you here ride the Bayview/Stouffville trails? I've been there a couple of times this year, and as I'm getting to know the trails better I'm liking it more and more :)

How many of you ride the North shore section there? I found it (not that I've been looking - I'm not into that kind of stuff, and it's not exaclty something that someone who's just getting used to clipless should try ;)) for the first time today by accident. Anyways, it does look well constructed and some of the stunts seem doable even to an XC geek like me.

Maybe we should do a group ride there.. (if this thread even gets any responses)

and what is with that trail...i've read on some sites that it is private property and the majority of the ppl say just ignore the signs and what not. but what is the real deal there?

Ok here is the thing. There are two areas where I have seen private property signs. One has been fenced off, so obviously I woulnd't go in there. But this other one you can actually go in through the entrance where there is no sign (I didn't try to exploit this, I got in there by mistake.) There is actually nothing interesting there. just a big downhill and an uphill. Like 500 m of trail.

It seems safe to ride there as I see plenty of tire tracks, and last time (not today) I saw a few other riders there.
