I really like that build!

I was really close to doing that as well with mine but did not because of:
Price (expensive fork/adapter/wheelset)
Short head tube on Anthem (does not look bad though with the spacers and stem config shown though)
Difficulty to remove wheel for travel/racks
Mixed reviews of reliability and adjustability

I keep trying to find a reason to get a converted Lefty. Really wish one could get a full 140mm out of a Max on a 29" wheel format, instead of loosing 30mm to the conversion though.

I thought the same... but you really don't need it. 110 -115mm is great. 30mm is recommended spacing, I was able to get away with 20mm, so I have a 120mm lefty on my 29er.

To me it is now almost as cushy as my 5.5" travel Ibis Mojo... but rolls way faster
