After waiting for parts, it's finally alive.

21.5 lbs!
19.5" frame
Full rigid
Stan's ZTR 355 rims
WTB hubs
Kenda Klaw tires
Hope Mono Mini brakes
Race Face Duce XC BB & Cranks
Salsa 32t ring
Endless KA cog 18t

Just finished it yesterday, the hoses need to be routed properly and trimmed. Couldn't ride today, so no report yet.

Very nice. I'm surprised nobody else has commented on it. What kind of fork is that? Looks like aluminum. Sweet build, my man.

That is a stunning bike. I'm amazed how light it is considering you started with a 5+lb frame. Good job!
Beautiful build. Are you going to put a On One carbon fork some day?

I was surprised myself, expected 22.5-23 lbs build. The bare frame was 5.1 lbs with sliders and salsa seatpost QR 5.5.
The biggest weight savings turned out to be the wheels!

Front:

Rear:

1580g is light even for 26" wheels... Stan's ZTR 355s rock! They weighed in at 389g and 394g. There is hoping that they will be strong too.

Yes, how did you guess?! The On One CF fork is on order. But they are BO'd right now. As soon as they are made and shipped it's going on the bike. But they are not expected till end of July or even August. So this one is a temp one. But it's alloy and is only 2.1 lbs

sample fork - not for production.
Lovely bike and wisely spec'd.

Brant, are we still looking at late August for the carbon forks?

Possibly earlier. Still waiting final confirmation.
I am getting one too...

A On One CF for my Sir Nine. I can't wait to try rigid and I think the On One rake is going to be worth the wait.
Very nice. If you don't mind me asking, can you give me a price breakdown on all the parts you used?
