yep it looks sweet
somebody please buy my six pack that's on E-bay so I can build this beauty up.
Cheers!
kind of a one off I guess,I wanted a polished frame and didn't want to wait. Dave said he had this one and I said I want it,and called every single day until I got it.FM said:That looks awesome- Glad they went with the smooth finish rather than shot-peened. Much easier to keep clean! Hopefully it will be available as an option for re-finishing....I would do it.
Question fer ya, how did you come across this frame? Is this Turners new standard or a special one-off deal?
MTBR, you heard it here first.turnerbikes said:OK OK Sorry for the confusion. I have decided to call it RFX, I know how original. But hey, every year Ford calls their 1/2 ton truck a F 150 and it don't stay the same, just aimed at the same useage.
The reason KgB got it was that the color sample is a little pale. The dark green will be the alternate color of the RFX with dark Gray being the primary color stocked.
That's sweet. I guess they got the ano/tolerance issues worked out. As I remember Turner was having to ditch a number of frames coming back from anodizing because they were out of spec. Something about the ano process removing material.cactuscorn said:as i understand it, and this may change at any moment for any reason, its all anno in '06.
How about it DT? Ano, tolerances...?SkullCrack said:That's sweet. I guess they got the ano/tolerance issues worked out. As I remember Turner was having to ditch a number of frames coming back from anodizing because they were out of spec. Something about the ano process removing material.
I'm hoping they'll have an alternate finish for the Highline. The raw finish makes sense on a bike that's going to be abused, but after seeing it in person I'm just not diggin' it like I thought I would.
Sorry about the tangent. Congrats on a sweet frame.
