AngleSet on a TallBoy

Has anyone done this yet? My other bike is a MojoSL with a 150mm fork and I like the way it feels. My new TallBoy feels a little steep up front even with the 120mm up front. What would the AngleSet do to the feel of the bike?

If I went for the big move of 1.5 it would take me to 69.5 angle on the head tube.
Actually, I think with a 120mm fork it would take you to 68.5°. That is what I'm planning to do with mine. It should get the seat tube angle and bottom bracket height back to where it is stock with a 100mm fork. You will gain the slacker head tube angle plus a longer wheelbase. Not sure how that will feel, but its worth giving a try. :)

Andy,

This is the exact setup Tani rides... and he says it rips in this configuration....

That is what I'm hoping for. I just don't want to mess up a good thing with all the good things people have to say about the Tallboy. I figure I can try it, if I don't like it I'll just run it in the stock setting. I just wonder how it will handle tight stuff. Through my rocket science math abilities I'm coming up with around a ~45" wheelbase on a large. That's getting a bit long in the tooth.

Cheers,
Andy
Andy, did you build it up yet?
Nope, I wish. :madman: I'm still waiting on the bike from Santa Cruz and for cane creek to offer the tapered angleset. I'll make sure to update once I get it wrapped up.

Cheers,
Andy
