I think, the most amazing (and thoroughly awesome) thing about this is, it doesn't have a dropper post.

Ive got one with the Ti fork. My bikepacking rig for the sandy michigan two track. It turned out to be the bike I ride the most now.

If you're trying to ride lines that need a dropper post, you're not thinking about finishing your ride.
I gotta say, I do like the look of it and it would be pretty awesome to ride on winter gravel roads and such, but man, it's a pretty narrow use-case for me anyway. Thumbs up overall!
Finally! What I've always wanted. I'll order that $8500 model as soon as I get my winning lottery tickets from Santa.
The most thoroughly awesome thing is the name. Fittingly nice nod to the Legend.

I've had several gravel/cyclocross bikes through the shop recently, with them.

I wish I were making this up, alas, marketing, and selling fear, are really effective. I mean, you might stand up to climb, and have the saddle touch your leg......

Tomac = Towmak?
I hope this concept takes off. Fat roadie will no longer be a derogatory term.

197 rear spacing is a deal killer for me, but it is a cool idea. I saw their frames at Iceman and they are nicely finished.
That bike would do well here in Maine. I don’t know how the roadies do it around here. Crumbling roads, broken up road shoulders, errant motorists trying to run you off the road, bottomless dirt shoulders. Perfect bike for non trail duty in Maine.

Indeed. I got to witness him race xc, downhill (back when uphill tt's before racing down were part of the race agenda), and road. I never thought we'd see this kind of rider again, but along comes MVP and Pidcock. It's a golden era for racing right now.
Not so different if you still have your OG WTB wilderness drop bars on an OG Fat Chance.

It's a bike that could make a lot of sense by our cabin and the maker's locations via sand and the trail inventory in winter.

Does seem like a strange application for that big of a hub.

Not remotely saying it can't be done -- because obviously people have been riding drop bars all over the planet since the baby jesus was a wee tyke.

But drop bars remind me of an old saying about futons: "They're an uncomfortable couch that turns into an uncomfortable bed".

If I put drop bars on my Moonlander wouldn’t I have the same thing as a Towmak?
I have a Bearclaw Beaux Jaxon and love it for where I live. There are miles of soft, rough backroads. A cross bike doesn't even function here, much less a road bike.

It'll run 29x2.6 or 27.5x3.0. It is not an upright cruiser, but more of an aggressive/fast road bike geometry. If I'm going out for over 8 hours, I'll take a different bike. If I'm trying to cover as many dirt road miles as quickly as possible, it's my go-to bike.
Singlespeedable?
