This started out as a 1.0 Lumen Sigma Tri-Led that ran on 3 AAA batteries. Scar disected it and Amoeba-ized it. Now it runs on a 9V and is 250 times brighter! I was looking for a wireless solution to clamp on my pugsley for night riding and winter visibility. It has about 2.5 hours of run time. This paired with my Amoeba lights on my helmet light up the sky. Thanks Scar for the great work, it is a one of a kind.

Great place to mount it, but do you get a shadow of the tire?

It has the spot beam in it....so it does a pretty good job of getting the light past the tire.

That is the that funky pugsley setup. Somehow you can make it geared or SS with an exchange of the wheels right?

The Pugsley uses a rear hub on the front. The theory is that if the casette freezes up, I can swap wheels and ride out of the woods fixed gear style. I doubt that will ever happen to me, but it sure looks cool.

there has to be a braze-on if you are going to use that paul mount or similar. you can make a paul-style mount using a scrap piece of crap handle bar, two washers (outside edge big enough to cover the edges of the bar piece and small enough hole to for a 5mm bolt to hold it in place), and a longish 5mm bolt to hold it in place.
